Using the Just One Look Method
Late Saturday evening, we sent out an appeal for help with a financial crisis. We needed to raise at least $6,000 dollars very quickly, most of it by today.
It's been less than forty-eight hours since then, and you have already come through with more than we asked for. We can now keep the websites, forums, video and audio blogs, online meetings, and all the rest alive for a while longer.
We are very proud to be a part of this wonderful community.
Now we must find ways to bring some measure of financial stability to our organization so that we can all can focus our attention on the good work of bringing news of the looking to the world.
We welcome any ideas you might have about creating that stable foundation. It wouldn't take as much as you might think. And we do not expect there to be any need for this organization to continue once its quite limited goal is accomplished — three to five years is our best guess.
We promise we will always put every penny you give to good use.
